I would love to know who was actually involved in these recordings. Wikipedia offers a short list of Family A-listers which I guess came from the album artwork but, even though I've never held a physical copy of TFJ or the 1980's LP, I feel is a bit of a cop-out given that those guys were probably matched in number by post-TLB hangers on. Also, there are clearly at least three guys on there, but Wikipedia only mentions Clem.
I'd also be interested to know who sings what on Get On Home. I think I have some of it down: the 'The fields they are golden' verse sounds like Sandy but is probably Gypsy; 'When you see the children' I'm pretty certain is Sandy; 'Babies gonna disappear' is unmistakably Brenda. The 'When I was a little girl' verse sounds like a child, and I have no idea whose ravaged tones grace the 'Daddy used to beat me' verse, and the guy singing the last verse definitely isn't Clem.
Any thoughts?
