Interesting article. I noticed that he said she was 8 and a half months pregnant too so come one, she had to be!
I have other comments too, just not enough time to write them so....another time!

I've got this Playboy. One of my favorite Polanski interviews by the way. It's worth a read.
Was there some doubt as to Sharon being eight and a half months pregnant? I think we debated that back in another forum at a different time?

I read somewhere, do not remember where, Sharon didn't tell Roman or her manager until it was too late to be pushed into an abortion by Roman as she was still filming while in early pregnancy. Ring any bells? Perhaps Statman's book? Another "forum" cough cough.

Did we ever discern that he may have made a mistake?

Perhaps she was "Wile-E-Coyote" smart enough to push it forward with the European doctor so she could finish her film and get back to the USA in time for delivery. Flights had restrictions but ships didn't as far as I know.

I think she could've lied (or been mistaken) about the time of her last period before pregnancy too and that might've been what caused the "glitch." She wanted to do the film so....maybe a little white lie? We'll probably never know. To me, the fact that her family and husband have all said that she was 8 1/2 mos. pregnant is good enough for me.

I've never read this before; Roman's input, thought processes and responses are very interesting and intriguing. Gotta give the guy some sympathy for what he went through despite some badly timed impulsive decisions after Sharon's death. We all grieve the way we grieve, he lost his wife and a baby.
