I'd have brought my cell phone with me and called the cops the minute Tex and crew turned on to Benedict Canyon. LAPD would have had a heads up and could have staked out the Cielo area and arrested the bastards!

I preferred the violent intervention, lol. Time of the month, I guess, lol

I'd always like to think, if I was there, that at least one of those blue steamer trunks would be winging its way toward Tex's head...and then en-route to stomping him a new one, you casually brush aside the two young girlies before adopting some heroic pose and a: "You lucky people. Who have you been upsetting?" Real life don't happen like that though...

Don't even have to kill Tex/Susan/Patricia. Just send Linda back to Spahn with a message for Charles: 'D- Must try harder!
Send whoever you'd like...just don't send anyone you'd like back'

Ironically, there's a mini-series starting called 11/22/63 - based on the novel about a time-traveler who goes back to try and prevent the assassination of JFK:
I wonder if you could spin-out a similar story about The Manson story / Tate-Murders...

I wonder if you could spin-out a similar story about The Manson story / Tate-Murders... I could see some fledgling writer/movie maker doing that. I have a friend who wrote a similar type of short story regarding the Clutter murders and then turned it into a movie short. It's one of my favs of his stuff tho it wasn't about changing the murders.

I loved the book! But, I don't get Hulu.... 1 - Who wrote it and 2 - was the guy able to change history? 1 - Stephen King wrote. 2 - That would be telling.

I loved the book! But, I don't get Hulu.... Who wrote it and was the guy able to change history? Interesting idea but ultimately, way too drawn-out and full of holes. Should have been a 4-part series, tops. Do you still want to know what happens?
